
2010 Nebraska Dairy Checkoff Scholarships
The American Dairy Association and Dairy Council of Nebraska will award up to ten (10) $500 scholarships during the 2010 calendar year. The scholarships are open to any college major or degree, regardless of the length of the program.
Winners will be randomly drawn during the June Dairy Month Proclamation. The awards will be sent directly to the recipients by July 31, 2010. The award check will be issued jointly to the student and the educational institution the student plans to attend. Eligibility includes one award per family per year. Applicants must reapply for subsequent years.

The ADA/DC of Nebraska announced the 2010 Nebraska Dairy Checkoff Scholarship recipients during the June Dairy Month Proclamation Ceremonies held at Hiland-Roberts in Norfolk, Nebraska. Those receiving a $500 scholarship were:

NDPRB Undergraduate Scholarship Program
The National Dairy Promotion and Research Board (NDPRB), through Dairy Management Inc.™ (DMI), annually awards up to 19 $1,500 scholarships to eligible undergraduate students (sophomore through senior) enrolled in college/university programs that emphasize dairy. Majors include: communications/public relations, journalism, marketing, business, economics, nutrition, food science, and Ag education. In addition, the NDPRB awards a $2,500 James H. Loper Jr. Memorial Scholarship to the outstanding scholarship recipient.
